In today’s meeting we decided upon the name of our app- KnockWalk. We believe this name describes the action of knocking on someone’s door, picking them up from their house for a walk, and walking together. Moreover, we spoke about the characteristics of the app and agreed to design the app according to these characteristics: lighthearted, simple and social. Furthermore, we discussed about how our app is about sport but yet more importantly about meetings and the ability to take our friends out of their houses for a walk. Hence, the UX UI design must focus on these design guides.

For next week we need to create a presentation with the name of our app, a catchy slogan, names of the group members, a user story, the flow of which our user goes through when using the app and a graph of our competitors. Aside from that, the product team will continue working on the prototype while the content team will start working on a short film about the app.

The following images were taken from our meeting. They present the development of our app from being a planned system for walks to a spontaneous system for walks. Meaning, users send their friends invitations to join their walk as they walk near their houses, and users at home view those walking near them. Thus, whenever a user approves a walk, then picked up by a friend, the responsibility to broadcast to the network that he is walking and looking for partners is on him once he leaves his house. That way, whenever someone joins a friend for a walk the broadcasting feature moves to him and stops following the person who picked him up.
