miLAB is a research and prototyping lab that explores the future of media, technology, and human-computer interaction. It fosters a unique learning environment in which students, faculty, and industry mentors collaborate to develop media & technology experiences in an iterative process of field research, invention, and rapid prototyping.
The lab was founded at the IDC Sammy Ofer School of Communications, in collaboration with the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science. It works closely with strategic industry sponsors such as Microsoft, Google and General Motors, and collaborates with leading international research centers in the Human Centered Computing and Media Technologies domains.

As part of the miLAB, Communication and Computer Science BA Students work in collaborative groups to create interactive Internet and mobile based platforms that fulfill a personal meaningful need. Groups use external design resources to build a working platform by the end of the year.
